Xerox Rolls Out New Proficio Production Inkjet Presses
Xerox has launched a new series of production inkjet presses, including the Proficio line, targeting the commercial and industrial printing market. The presses promise higher speed, greater precision, and support for specialty colors such as fluorescent inks. Xerox says the new lineup is aimed at helping print service providers expand their applications and improve profitability. The launch underscores continued investment in production inkjet even as the office printing market faces declining volumes and rising competition from Chinese brands. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
