Konica Minolta Unveils AccurioPress C8100 "Intelligent Press"
Konica Minolta launched the AccurioPress C8100 series on October 6, branding it "The Intelligent Press." Aimed at commercial printers, the line uses AI-driven autonomous optimization: built-in real-time sensors automatically monitor and adjust color and print quality during production, cutting manual intervention. It runs at up to 100 pages per minute (A4). Konica Minolta says the platform addresses short-run growth, tight deadlines, and skilled operator shortages. The launch underscores a wider industry trend of embedding AI and sensors into production hardware, moving presses toward self-regulating systems.
